Recruitment

As your business grows, you experience busy periods or need maternity cover you may need to take staff on to cope with all the opportunities and work.

Any Franchisee who wishes to take on staff should speak to Head Office in the first instance and all franchisees must have written permission from Kalma  HQ.  All employees must go through the same procedures as Franchisees e.g. passing CRB training etc. This is a cost at a cost of the Franchisee. There must be a contract between the Franchisee and employee which can be supplied and dictated from Kalma  or should you wish to have your own from a legal team then a copy must be sent to Kalma  HQ to be checked before use.  In all cases Kalma  must be sent a signed copy to keep on file.  A separate procedures and policies handbook must be given to all employees this is the employee handbook.

Refer a Franchisee scheme

Our franchisees lead the way for our brand and you may often get customers or others asking about becoming a franchisee.  We operate a refer a friend scheme where by you can receive a maximum of £250.  A Kalma  Franchisee referring in a Kalma  potential franchisee can get a maximum of £250 for ensuring the below points are all covered.  A Kalma  Franchisee referring in a Kalma Mamas potential franchisee and vice versa will receive £100 maximum.  Due to certain points below not being able to be carried out by the franchisee. From time to time a new incentive may be added.  Our referral scheme works in this way:

  1. After the initial conversation with the referee on interest please refer them to the kalmalife.co.uk/ website where they can download a franchise pack. Mention to them you will stay in contact with them if they have any questions about working in the franchisee-you’re the best people to sell! Please then notify me with a name so that HQ can watch for any emails coming through.
  2. You must stay in contact with the referee whilst HQ during the process, giving the referee any info they ask about how you find it etc. The franchisor may ask you to assist with other questions or prompt them to see where they are in the process to help the selling.
  3. There maybe times when the referee wants to meet up for a chat this should also be part of the process.
  4. The Franchisee is expected to let them watch a class answering any questions regarding the franchise day to day running and teaching, this does not include financial information, please refer them back to the brand for this. In the instance of not knowing an answer to any questions please also refer them back to the brand.

The above is not exhaustive, and you are expected to keep the franchisor up to date with any conversations you have had with the referee.  Once the franchisee is on board your £250 will be paid within 30 days.  If the referee deos not sign then no fee or payment is due to the franchisee.
