This section of the manual is to provide you with some general guidelines with regard to managing staff and employees. This can be a very complex area and it is your responsibility to ensure you are complying with the relevant laws.
We recommend two excellent websites, which are free and provide up to date information on all matters to do with business and employment law. They are also very practical and offer good advice and procedures:

Due to the need to make sure you comply with the latest laws we advise you to subscribe to www.Simply-Docs.co.uk, which provides you with all the latest information, policies, forms and contracts on Employment Law, Health and Safety and key forms, along with templates for general business use.
We recommend that you spend a few hours on the site to familiarise yourself with the fantastic range of resources available to you. This should also give you a very good appreciation of the laws you need to comply with particularly around Employment and Health and Safety. At the end of your current subscription you will need to re-subscribe to stay abreast of the latest laws.
