Here are some suggested ways to help with repeat business:
Private Facebook Group: Parents should always be encouraged to join the private Facebook group. This is the one set up for your franchise. This gives them information and breaks up the term helping to keep the enthusiasm of repetitive business. Use this group to post photo’s from classes, encourage other members of the group to post too, create a community and don’t just post all business. Share things in here that are relevant and your customers can relate too.
Give a taster of next term: At the end of each term you should always thank customers and let them know your plans for the next term. You can do this also by giving them a snippet of next term and break up with a bang! If you are planning a themed session, let them know, this can be a great draw for people to come back.
Newsletters: Keep in touch with existing customers by marketing e-mail where possible. Customers can check the box at time of booking to request newsletters via email. This will help you to generate repeat and referral business especially if you unearthed other potential opportunities at the ‘Intelligence Gathering’ stage. It is also helpful as you can run competitions or giveaways and give details of the new terms in this. You can use a website called ‘sender’ which is free and simple to use.
Priority booking: We have always found this to be a winner even without giving a loyalty discount. Customers like the idea of being treat with loyalty and given something back. Always give your current customers time to book 24-48 hours ahead of opening them to general public.
Refer a friend scheme: The perfect way for them to come back and bring a long a friends because they are rewarded with a free class for it!
Class progress: The classes are deigned so that the ages filter through and generally speaking when your customers little ones grow up they can attend another age group class which you have. Similarly if you have customers attending Kalma Mamas classes, they can then progress onto Kalma massage or Kalma Baby classes.
Cross Selling: At Kalma Life there are various avenues for you to generate income. Use which ever class you are currently teaching to promote other services you offer. For example with community baby/toddler/minds and wellbeing classes you can promote your work in schools. We often get a lot of teachers attending classes, even if they don’t teach in your area you may be able to help out another Franchisee. Customers may have older children attending a local school in your area and can get you a contact or request the schools gets in touch with you. When working in schools ask if you can put leaflets into school bags to promote your community classes.
