Competitors
Who are your competitors?
Competitors can be an invaluable source of information and inspiration. Analysing them helps you set a firm basis for your marketing planning. When thinking about competitors you should consider the following things;
- Products/services they provide
- Pricing strategy
- Risk/s to my business
- Any further insight (e.g. have they launched a new product/new franchise area/currently recruiting/losing staff/franchisees)
Some of our competitors are;
- Bloom
- Yoga Pupz
- Baby Sensory
- Hartbeeps
- Little Movers
Find out which other baby and toddler classes are running in your area. Look at the venues they are in, and how popular they are. Lots of parents attend more than one class, especially while on maternity leave. Often Working with another Brand can be mutually beneficial, ask to do a leaflet swap with someone in your comparable area, or do a joint christmas/easter/summer party together. (Only do this with a brand who offers a different service, not a direct competitor e.g.Yoga Pupz)
Competitors don’t need to be seen as a negative. They can help you to grow your business, and introduce you to new customers, who will be your target audience. There is lots to learn from our competitors, both good and bad.
