About Kalma Life Newcastle

Hi! We are Kalma Life. You will find us at GNCH on Thursdays on ward 4 and ward 14 delivering bespoke sessions for families, fully funded by Children’s Cancer North.

We are experts in our field, delivering Baby yoga, Toddler yoga, Childrens yoga, Teen yoga and Family yoga so the whole family can enjoy Kalma Life too!

We would love to meet you and chat about how we can support you and your family, as everyone has different ideas and we would love to hear from you.

A Typical session with us might be visiting you on the ward for bedside support, chatting and getting to know you, with maybe a relaxing meditation, it could be joining us at our dedicated teen session up in the penthouse, or it could be enjoying a fun family yoga session or creating some Mindful art together.

We are fully trained, insured, DBS checked and hold safeguarding and first aid certificates. The Kalma Life brand also boasts a GOLD accreditation from the Children’s Activity Association.

We are here to support you during your time in the Great North Childrens hospital, this will look different for everyone. You may like to meet us on the ward for a gentle yoga session, a relaxing meditation, some mindful art or simply a chat at your bedside. We are here to get to know you and work with you on your wellbeing journey in partnership with Children’s Cancer North.
